“Fairy Tales”, think of it and the notion is sure to land you
into fantasy world of magic and mirror, the land of fairies and witches, royal
romance, talking chipmunks and yes! End(s) decorated with happy endings!!

“Have a look, isn’t this dress lovely?” queried my friend
sticking an oyster green one piece in front, looking into the mirror, in her
quest for enchanting gorgeous look.
“This evening you are breaking many hearts!!” I reported
smiling.
It struck me then (and it wasn’t the first time) - we are so
much worried about our looks, using so many resources to get an “Awww” look.
Everyone wants to wear ‘beautiful’ or ‘handsome’.
After toddling days, child is occupied with moral tales which
teach the young heart, how to dream sweet with values of truth and kindness,
but It also familiarises them to the world of fancy and beauty loving.
Flipping channels, I was pondering - Are we obsessed, with
looking more than just fine?? Does beauty play an important role in influencing
our destiny?? Do I have to look pleasing in order to find my dreams?? And I
remembered the “Dove’s real beauty campaign” ad. It had gone viral on net,
people liked and shared it on Facebook. The video experienced its moment in
public to utmost and now has vanished in thin air. But it touched the ‘real
beauty’ concept. It pictured how one can be critical about one’s appearance and
how there is need of feeling proud of ones beauty in order to be happy and
confident, and with the magic of confidence anything is achievable!!
Even back then when Snow White was keeping house of seven
dwarfs and Cinderella cleaning chimney, someone had decided. For women Beauty
had since then become an imminent asset.
Let’s dig about it together and from the very beginning- the
birth!
The moment she is born, family starts to describe her by the
colour of her skin and size of her eyes. She grows and if she grows chubby pink
sweet, she is adored by every visitor. In her teenage at school, she is crush
of most boys if she has fair skin and that sparkling eyes and rosy smile. But
what if she is not so blessed, no problem, she is flooded with all kinds and
types of home treatments, creams, advices, remedies to get the right skin tone
and charming look. At the time of choosing partner, having beautiful female is
always ones priority, beautiful face is hunted and convinced. And if she is
beauty she goes for handsome and the circle of “pursuit of beauty” goes on like
this….
But O, wait! Beauty is not just about flawless faces, or
legacy of females, it holds its roots deeper, isn’t it?
I feel, there are immeasurable kinds of beauty and world has
been celebrating and adoring each. Most of the choice in life has something to
do with beauty. So you see, it’s very difficult to pin down each. But in
defence I give few examples: choice of career is effected by the beauty of
dreams, the choice of a toothbrush is the mercy of beautiful ad on TV, and the
choice of gifts is influenced by the beauty of relationship, tasteful dish is
result of beautiful recipe.... where definition of beauty different for each of
us J.
What is interesting to know is, every philosopher, of all
times have spoken about the beauty and its sphere. Some described it in eyes of
onlookers, others in truth of life, others talked about skin deep beauty and a
few even said that nothing is beautiful.
After love and hate, beauty is one popular phenomenon in
human life touching our soul through the window of our eyes and heart. Its
description might be different for each one of us but no one is spared from its
essence.
Beauty loving is proof that we are dreamers and can
appreciate the kaleidoscopic life. When God has created a world so beautiful
and mystical that can’t be scaled, we are mere humans who are just sprinkling
beauty of n number of shades into our life.
There is so much beauty in the world. Enjoy it, love it but
don’t surrender to it.
To conclude I say, beauty is one of the strings binding all
happy endings, including this articleJ.
