There was hardly any dry eye in the
audience when a bunch of actors performed on the stage. Their transformation
was dramatic, their confidence absolute. The lines from Shakespeare’s Macbeth were delivered just right, in
perfect English. And when those actors left the stage to thunderous applause,
it was not just for their acting talent!

All Fool's Day
April 1st, is almost here!!!
Ha! All fool’s day. It’s time for you to unleash your fun
side. The only day when you can officially pull the leg of anyone - who always
scared you, your boss (if you are sure there are no chances of him firing you!!),
your big always so right brother, your best friend so smart or your no nonsense
teacher… Being a trickster and pulling out fake stuffs and making them believe in
it… Oh! That pleasure does makes us so so happy and whole situation a hilarious
incident in cells of our memory. I can remember my first memory of April fool’s
day when I was in 2nd standard, all I could think of was pretending
there was a lizard behind my mother and then I saw my mom jump and freaking out…though
simple in nature, the so called prank to me did give me a good amount of laughter
and a sense of pride in pulling a leg of an adult none other than my mom!!!Saturday, 15 February 2014
A Little Pencil
“First Aid Box. Check. Knife. Check. Spectacle Case.
Check.”
“Grandma??”
“Blanket. Check. Fruits. Check. Books. Check… This
old age can’t remember… I think everything is here now”, murmuring to herself.
“What are you writing Grandma??”
“Oh, darling! Did you say something? I have become a
weak ear lately”
“Are you writing a story about what we’ve done? Is
it a story about me Grandma that you writing?”

No dream is ever chased alone
Today was a lovely day. Full on happening. Met so many. Learned
so much, laughed my heart out, cracked silly jokes (my speciality!!!)…. But
that one thing which made it memorable was the seminar with Sir Vinod. He not
only had a superb charm in his way of interaction but also, he shared
remarkable memories of his childhood with none other than Rahul Dravid. Yes! Our
very own great Rahul Dravid!!! Hailed as -The wall.

Saying It #3
To love life, to love it even
when you have no stomach for it
when you have no stomach for it
and everything you've held dear
crumbles like burnt paper in your hands,
crumbles like burnt paper in your hands,
your throat filled with the silt of it.
When grief sits with you, its tropical heat
thickening the air, heavy as water
more fit for gills than lungs;
when grief weights you like your own flesh
only more of it, an obesity of grief,
you think, How can a body withstand this?
Then you hold life like a face
between your palms, a plain face,
no charming smile, no violet eyes,
and you say, yes, I will take you
I will love you, again.
I will love you, again.

Light and Night
After bright
shine comes again the dead of night
But when it
is dark enough
You can see
the stars twinkling bright
Fire tests
gold, suffering tests brave
Occurring of
Violent storms
Simply gives
way to sunshine and wisdom wave
While facing
the darker times
When embracing
the hard and pain
Our eyes open, we recognize our primes
Don’t run
away from sting and ache
Every path has
puddle and power
Every rose
has love and pain
When hours ferments
into darkest
When there is
hardship and sorrows
Remember to
go on, as happy moments are closest
Without
tasting adversity
We can’t
welcome prosperity
Breaking rough
cocoon first, flies the beauty
If there was
no cold winter
The flowers
of spring will never blossom
It is cycle
of nature, everything comes in pair

No Magic Wand
Miracle starts to happen when you give as much energy to your
dream as you do to your fears. I am sure we all have come across these words or
say something very similar to this viewpoint in speeches or books. What is significant
is the impression these words are trying to make, which is that the person who
dares to believe in dreams is accustomed to meet and create beautiful life. The
first stride is towards dreaming well and the other is towards its fulfilment.
We on look such persona today. Making governance more transparent
and inclusive is what he and few others dreams of.

My First Liebster
Firsts are always special. Close to heart and never
forgotten. It was 18th November. Cheers to Bhumi of Hey Wait,Listen! She nominated my blog for the Liebster Award. Thank you so much!!! I accept this award with gratefulness and excitement. Lots of love to you. It’s
more than just an award for me. Any kind of recognition small or big gives so
much happiness and you can’t imagine how much delighted I am with your generosity.
It’s strange we don’t know each other and are connected with strings of our
writings and jottings.

Beginning...
Hi Diary,
Here I am writing after
days. I wish if you could give me a big hug. Things are no longer normal since
morning… the jinx of usual troubling thoughts in my mind and complications of
life is broken. Our wedding card, Jaya weds Keshav written with golden emboss,
wedding between Jaya, a girl from small town, average looking, extrovert,
college lecturer and Keshav tall, handsome
(very very!!), introvert city boy working in private firm. Two opposite people
vowed together to be each other’s companion for lifetime…The cacophony of
excited relatives, all memories with tiny details still afresh in front of my
eyes... How can I forget it?

Saying It #1
At the end of the day, all that matters is what you make or believe to be what you determine. Your deeds may be filled with fault and error, disrespect and dishonesty, but eventually you know inside what was right and what wrong. That then is the best judge and the best guide.

Birthday Gift
Gauri is a sweet little lovely young girl with dimple chin, chubby cheeks, rosy lips(and yes, teeth within!). She got up very early today despite being a Sunday as it’s
her birthday!!! She is turning 9. She knows she would be receiving gifts and
will get to eat lots and lots of sweets today. So she quickly took her bath,
wore her new dress and was ready looking pretty like a princess. She touched
every elder’s feet and took warm healthy blessings. Next she wanted to taste
all mouth-watering colourful sweet-smelling sweets, but she knew until she
visits temple and does pooja with her
mom she can’t even touch them.Wednesday, 30 October 2013
I Fear ‘Nothing’

| Eloping Imagination |
Make a cat roar, jump on the clouds, sleep on million candies, own a 'Genie' and keep make wishes, live on trees like nomads, play with unicorns, live a heroic life (S for Superman)... Hey! Do you say “Not possible!!”? Then my friend, you have underestimated the power of imagination!!
Yes, it’s one of the most impressive strength of human mind. By annexes of imagination you live your dreams for few seconds… impossible becomes possible in our custard of thoughts…it lifts the wings of hopes and pushes harmless dreams to surface. I just love imagining, or say dreaming, another synonym for imagination… it adds creative blends to day to day life but there is other side of the coin, the other product of imagination “Fear”, not so adorable.

A Healthy Immune India
Kids love to play dirty. They smudge their hands with all sorts of colourful or say grey stuff they eye on, you make a move to stop them and they do it again and again. They like to explore everything in terms of taste, touch and weight. Remember the ‘Boo Boo’ adorable baby (I don’t remember his name, his booing act was sho cute that I refer him that way ;)) from movie ‘Baby’s day out’ who almost explored the whole city on knees and was so happy and lovable all the time. Till the end of film, he was one strong n healthy booming baby…

Dedicated To You Sir… Happy Birthday!
From where should I start and what should I write in your
praise for one true legend you are. So enthusiastic and full of life and being
one of the busiest actors at the age of 71. I can’t hold myself from wondering,
from where do you get so much passion and inspiration? Leaving the age of
retirement far behind, it seems you will redefine the age of retirement!! Wait, entertainment industry has no retirement age! Sic!

Teachers Open Doors
When you were kid who opened
the world of art and music to you? Who familiarised you with numbers and poems?
Who taught you to question and reason out? Well, those were our teachers and from the beginning of time when they were ‘Guru’(s)
to the present modern time ‘Miss’ ,
‘Ma’am’ and ‘Sir’ the world hasn’t been able to do away with them, as it’s only
impossible!!
In the words of William Butler Yeats,
"Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire."
A good teacher educates us through experiences and stories and fables, torches path and enlightens. Such teachers are angles in disguise of parents, friends, brothers, sisters and of course our very own ‘Life’.
